My Wii Quit Reading Disks... =(!

I was just playin in a match when my wii couldnt read the risk randomly... and now it just clicks when trying to read the disk. so I'll have to get a new fc and everybodies and re-add. My Grandpa has a wii stored there lol that i can use until mine gets fixed and hopefully nothing is erased... so yeah =\. I got into a Hacked game before the game where it died, I doubt that could affect the wii but maybe? Just beware I guess lol. Hope to play again within a couple days.

if u wanna know what happened i thinked you bricked your wii what is your wii version 4.3 if yes, then u bricked you wii

I read somewhere that the whole "brick" thing isn't true. Sounds like his disc drive just failed. Sorry to hear that D.

Yes Troth is right, your disc reader died in it. I had the same thing happen to mine. &% bucks and 2 week turn around (shipped to shipped back in your hands) Sorry about your luck. Not many of us has had a wii repaired though. Seems to be the thing with wii's.

Yeah it should just be the disk reader. It's not bricked lol.. oddly enough it did happen a day after i upgraded my wii but thats not the problem i know that. i'll be sending it in this weekend and i live quite close to the place they get repaired so should only be a couple days.

yeah i had to get mine fixed a whole bunch of poop when on with it..ended up buying a new black wii...
